It would seem from this fact, that man is naturally a wild animal, and that when taken from the woods, he is never happy in his natural state, ‘till he returns to them again. The woods invite me into themselves so that I might be drawn out of myself. There is a serene and settled majesty to woodland scenery that enters into the soul and delights and elevates it, and fills it with noble inclinations.Between every two pines there is a doorway to a new world. Our forests offer much more than just beautiful landscapes and wildlife.Nothing is more beautiful than the loveliness of the woods before sunrise.– George Washington Carver. But I have promises to keep, and miles to go before I sleep. Every forest branch moves differently in the breeze, but as they sway they connect at the roots. No one who loves the woods stays on the path.It is the place where you hear yourself better. I love places that make you realize how tiny you and your problems are. Most of the time we are simply not patient enough, quiet enough, to pay attention to the story. There is a way that nature speaks, that land speaks.Live in each season as it passes breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the earth.Life sucks a lot less when you add mountain air, a campfire and some peace and quiet. It doesn’t matter how much time passes between visits – it’ll always hold a special place in your heart. I just wish the world was twice as big and half of it was still unexplored.May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.Nothing is art if it does not come from nature. The fairest thing in nature, a flower, still has its roots in earth and manure. Some old-fashioned things like fresh air and sunshine are hard to beat. Not just beautiful, though-the stars are like the trees in the forest, alive and breathing. My wish is to stay always like this, living quietly in a corner of nature.Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.Nature, time, and patience are the three great physicians. If you can’t be in awe of Mother Nature, there’s something wrong with you.Being able to smell the fresh air and disconnect from the news and your phone-there’s nothing like it.The poetry of the earth is never dead. For the sun every morning is a beautiful spectacle and yet most of the audience still sleeps. When you do something noble and beautiful and nobody noticed, do not be sad.One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.
